2020 has been a wild ride for everyone. Retailers everywhere are desperate for a good holiday season this year, so you can expect to see some fantastic sales! Here’s our usual round-up of deals that you’ve come to expect from us. As always, we’ll keep this post updated as we learn more.

Starting with something a little different and exclusive! At Propwashed we love all things FPV that aren’t necessarily quad parts. We’ve got a 20% off coupon for you to the propagandaFPV store where you can by FPV-inspired jewelry and accessories! Use code PROPAGANDA20 for 20% off, valid 11/25–12/1.

Discount Codes

While some sites automatically apply deals, others opt for discount codes. Be sure to check out if any are available before purchasing so you don’t miss out.

  • BetaFPV really hits black Friday hard. You can get 20% off site-wide from Nov 27 to Dec 1 with discount code BFCM. Additional discounts will be available and on-sale products can be up to 90% off. There’s also a randomized “wheel of fortune” game which might net another 25% off. Additional discounts are possible through Facebook and Instragram giveaways. And on orders of varying amounts, BetaFPV may randomly include a “mystery bag” with additional gear.
  • FPV Unlocked, the online course for all things FPV, is running a promotion with the code FIGHTFAA. This will get you $100 off the course cost. In addition, $20 of the sale will go to the FPV Freedom Coalition to help fight against regulatory overreach that threatens recreational aviation.
  • AMain Hobbies helpfully runs a page with discount codes. Mostly these are about 10% off, but we’ve heard they will ramp up as the sales approach and will be updated through the week.
  • GetFPV also has a dedicated coupon page that’s always worth checking out if it matches up to what you’re looking to buy. Currently 10% off RTFs and a Shark Byte giveaway are the standout deals.
  • Racedayquads offers 10% off the entire store from now through Monday with coupon code BlackFriday. They’re also currently pushing their clearance section up to 70% off.
  • Rotor Riot will take 20% off a bunch of products. To get the deal, enter code BLACKFRIDAY at checkout.
  • ImpulseRC has 20% off store-wide with BFCM2020
  • Pyro Drone is running 18% off Pyro Drone Hyperlite products with HYPERBF, or 10% off sitewide with BF2020.
  • Banggood has a whole slew of coupon codes; too many to list! Take a browse through this coupon spreadsheet to see if anything interests you.
  • HeliDirect (which FPV Direct has merged into) is running 15% off regular prices for most of the shop and 10% off with code BF2020, details on two separate sale pages. These pages also detail individual product groups up to 75% off.
  • RotorGeeks has a dedicated Black Friday page with up to 50% off, otherwise get 10% off the entire store with BF2020

A bunch of sites run deals that don’t require a code. Simply visit and check out while the sale is on to get the best prices.

  • NewBeeDrone‘s Black Friday / Cyber Monday offering is 30% off GNB batteries; 30% off many whoop accessories, frames, and canopies; 40% off clearance; and 15% off almost everything else. There are also individual products on sale, and a free gift is added to every order.
  • CycloneFPV has an ongoing Black Friday page which is being updated daily with individual deals. There are some real standouts, like a 24V power supply for $16 and discounts on tools and soldering supplies not often found elsewhere.
  • ReadymadeRC is currently pushing big discounts on clearance items and often does “flash sales” of high discounts for extremely limited times. You’ll have to visit often and watch closely for the best deals.
  • SabotageRC has 10% off site-wide.
  • AirbladeUAV has a Black Friday discount page that details the various discounts on offer across several days.
  • Armattan is running 10–25% off depending on how much you spend from $50 to $450+
  • iFlight says up to 50% off are available on some items and orders on Friday also get a “free gift” mystery bag—with larger bags for more expensive orders.
  • HGLRC has up to 50% on most items, a buy-4-get-1 deal on motors, and a limited number of flash sale items at even cheaper prices.
  • Runcam has products on sale at their store up to about 30% off.
  • Gearbest is also sure to have a ton of steep discounts this year which will be rapidly changing.
  • DryDrone waterproofing doesn’t seem to be running a deal on product pricing, but they’ve stated every order this weekend will get “a little surprise“.

Sites to Watch

One site in particular to keep an eye on is ProgressiveRC. ProgressiveRC usually only has two sales a year, so they tend to go big. We’ve heard a rumor that some new charging products may be released during the sale period, so if you’re in the market for a charging upgrade it’s one to watch. You likely won’t need a coupon code for deals here.

Other sites will also be publishing discounts and deals! While they haven’t published anything yet, in the past we’ve seen some great offerings from each of these retailers.

Happy hunting!
